In 2015, Mount Gay purchased 324 acres of the old Mount Gay and Oxford estates. On the Mount Gay Estate, our own sugar cane cultivars are developed to translate the specific terroir of the World’s oldest running rum Estate. The Single Estate Series is created exclusively with molasses from sugar cane grown on our Estate, in St Lucy, Barbados. Fermented, distilled, aged and blended at the Mount Gay Distillery, this rum represents a unique expression of our singular Barbados terroir.
