The Macallan Enigma is a testament that every end has a new beginning, always venturing on the brink of a new discovery.\n A rich and intense single malt whisky, drawing out a full and lingering oak, subtle cinnamon, sweet vanilla and lasting flavours of spicy dried fruits. European oak sherry-seasoned first-fill hogsheads and butts from Tevasa in Jerez, Southern Spain are used. ABV 44.9%

    European oak is powerful yet shows a softer side. Oak opens up mature yet understated, allowing dried fruits to accompany. Rich yet elegant. Vanilla is gracious enough to mingle with apples and pears which are soft and sweet. Ginger and cinnamon call out not to be forgotten on the periphery…the oak reappears subtle yet grand.
