Founders John and James Chivas began blending Scotch whiskies in the 19th century in the cellar of their 13 King Street Emporium. Chivas Extra 13 Rum Cask is inspired by the many flavours the brothers imported from all over the world, with the rum cask enhancing the sweet notes within our house blend.

HOW TO ENJOY? • Neat or on the rocks or with soda water. • For cocktail lovers, try this sweet and creamy twist on a Piña Colada, all the better with Chivas Extra 13 Rum Cask. Ingredients for the Extra Colada: • 50ml Chivas Extra 13 Rum Cask. • 30ml pineapple juice. • 25ml lime juice. • 20ml coconut cream. • Pineapple slice, to garnish. • Mint to garnish. Method: Add all ingredients into a blender, and blend with ice for approximately 10 seconds. Pour into a tall glass filled to the top with ice. Garnish with the pineapple and mint.

The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruit, molasses sweetness, and a hint of toasted oak. A touch of spiciness from the rum cask adds depth, leaving a satisfying, rich warmth.
